Today’s workout might have been the most challenging workout I’ve ever performed. It was a test of determination and mental toughness. Stuff like that certainly build up your character. I’m happy to have emerged victorious from this double Smolov Jr. cycle and I’m now looking forward to testing my maxes.

I had to take long breaks but what matters most is that I completed all the sets.

Knee pain was present from the beginning but that didn’t stop me from doing what I had to do. I tried wrapping my knees for the 5th set I believe, but I found out that walking out the bar that way is way more difficult… and since I suck at walking out the bar I got really exhausted afterwards. So I just finished the rest of the sets only with my knee sleeves on and my belt. I must note that while using the wraps squatting was way easier… so I’ll have to improve my walking out and kick some ass in the future.
